About the Role

As a Community Care Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting older people, people with disabilities, and their carers to live independently at home and remain active in the community.

You’ll deliver person-centred care through an Active Service Model, promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice.

Your work may include:

• Helping clients with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance)

• Supporting household tasks like cleaning, meal prep, and laundry

• Providing respite care for primary carers

• Offering companionship, encouragement, and gentle support to enhance clients’ quality of life

• You’ll also have the opportunity to build genuine connections and make a meaningful impact in your local community.

What You’ll Bring:

• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent

• A current First Aid Level 2 certificate, Police Check, Working with Children Check, and Driver’s Licence with access to your own car

• Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills

• A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to work independently

• Confidence in basic computer use (email, record keeping systems)
